Volunteering Works: A new chapter

We are now reintegrating Volunteering Works back into Volunteering Matters. This transition will take place in the coming months, allowing us to enhance our collective ability to create positive change through volunteering.

Since our founding in 1962, we have been committed to supporting employee volunteering. While our name has evolved over the years from CSV to Volunteering Matters, and then Volunteering Works, our dedication to creating impactful employee volunteering opportunities has remained steadfast. Volunteering Works, as part of the Volunteering Matters family, has played a pivotal role in enabling businesses and their employees to contribute meaningfully to their communities—fostering skills, building connections, and having fun along the way.

Volunteering Works has consistently delivered high-impact, tailored employee volunteering programs that benefit both businesses and the communities they serve. Our unwavering commitment has driven us to adapt and meet the ever-changing needs of the modern workplace and society.

A new chapter

In 2022, we introduced Volunteering Works as a standalone brand to expand our impact. However, to streamline our efforts and maximise outcomes, we are now reintegrating Volunteering Works back into Volunteering Matters. This transition will take place in the coming months, allowing us to enhance our collective ability to create positive change through volunteering.

What this means

  1. A new identity: We will continue our work under the name “Employee volunteering at Volunteering Matters.”
  2. Seamless transition: All existing contacts will remain the same, ensuring continuity and support.
  3. Enhanced focus: By uniting under Volunteering Matters, we can concentrate more effectively on our core mission – making a significant impact through volunteering.

This integration does not mean a step back from our commitment to employee volunteering. On the contrary, it reinforces our priority to invest in and expand these initiatives. By combining our efforts under a single brand, we aim to reduce confusion and streamline our services, ensuring that we continue to support even more organisations.

We are excited about this new chapter and the opportunities it brings to enhance our collective impact. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to us at enterprise@volunteeringmatters.org.uk.
